Wine and Cheese Pairing

winewednesday240Wine Wednesday is back after a wonderful Summer holiday.
Last evening I tried a Swiss white wine from Zürich called “Zwei Flüsse wiis” from Stucki Wein.
It surprised me with a smooth and rich note. Usually I find Swiss white wine to be more dry.
With it’s copper glow color it rightfully indicated a full-bodied wine which I would recommend anyone to try.
Cheers!

winewednesday240Whispering Angel is a rose wine with a blend of Grenache, Rolle, Cinsault, Syrah, and Mourvedre grapes. Strikingly pale pink in color, the aromas are fresh and fruity. Pair it with lightly grilled steaks, salmon, other fish dishes and salads, as well as cheese.
ENJOY!

winewednesday240 Champagne-based cocktails, like Mimosa, has been a top contributor to Mother’s Day celebrations for decades.

A basic Mimosa recipe calls for two dashes of your favorite champagne and two dashes orange juice.

Happy Mother`s Day!
