This recipe serves 4.
* 200g smoked salmon
* 200g cream cheese
* 1 big tablespoon crème fraîche
* 100ml whipping cream
* Juice from half a lemon
* Salt: to taste
* Black pepper: to taste
* Chives: garnish
* Danish rye bread
HOW TO MAKE THIS DISH
Have the fish, cream cheese, crème fraîche, whipping cream and lemon juice in a food blender.
Blend it real smooth.
Add a pinch of salt and pepper and blend again.
You may find the blend already salty enough from the fish; then you just leave out the extra pinch of salt.
Have the blend over in small ramekins and place in the fridge for at least two hours.
Take the ramekins out of the fridge 15 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped chives and serve with a slice or two of Danish rye bread.
The recipe above is very plain and there are a number of ways to spice it up.
For example by adding one of these ingredients to the blend:
* Cayenne Pepper
* Lime (instead of lemon)
* Cooked carrots
* Finely chopped pepper bell or red chili
* Dijon mustard
You could also garnish with:
* Cucumber wheels
* Chopped smoked salmon
