Spring is here and starting on the lighter meals feels good.
This salad in a pita bread is a good, green lunch and you can spice it up with adding garlic to the sauce or making it friendlier by choosing vegetables that your kids love. The ingredients I have chosen here are mild in taste. For variation I have also tried it with quickly frying the scallions with some slices of mushrooms in a hot pan which gives them a sweeter flavor.

Let me know if you find a favorite combo!

What you need:

* Pita bread of choice
* Green salad
* Tomatoes
* Carrots
* Cabbage
* Scallions
* Sour cream
* Mustard
* Salt

What you do:

Wash and toss the salad and cabbage, peel and cut carrots and slice scallions and tomatoes.
Warm up the pita bread in the oven according to instructions on package.
While waiting for the pita bread, make the mustard sauce by mixing together two tablespoons of sour cream, one teaspoon of mustard and salt to taste.
Fill the warm pita with the vegetables and as much of the sauce as you`d like.
And why not wrap it up and bring it with your to a picnic?
