The other day I had the pleasure of having four extra hands helping out in the kitchen.
Although they were small hands they helped big time.

Together we made a pie with whatever fruit we could find in the house.
In our case this turned out to be apple and raspberries.

What you need:

* Whole wheat pie dough (we used a ready-to-go one from the store)
* 2 apples
* 250 g raspberries
* 3 eggs
* 2 dl sour cream
* A smal handfull of brown sugar.

What you do:

Roll out the pie dough and place in a suited baking pan.
Prick bottom of pie with a fork and place in a preheated oven (200 °c / 392 F) for five minutes.
In a big enough bowl mix together eggs and sour cream.
You can always add 2 dl sugar to the mix to get it sweeter or a tasty replacement is a tbs cinnamon.
If you use frozen raspberries make sure these are well thawed before placing them in the pie form. Peel apples and cut in smaller pieces.

Take the pie dough out of the oven (after five minutes) and ad the fruit first and then the egg mix. Sprinkle the brown sugar over it all.
Place back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes. The pie is ready when the egg mix is golden and fixed.

Let the pie cool off before serving.
I know this waiting for a snack to cool of will seem like an eternity for the little people in the house, but the taste will be so much better and no one will get burned.
